NR530 Coating Performance Standard

This Rule Note provides requirements for protective coatings in  seawater ballast tanks of ships of not less than 500 gross tonnage and double-side skin spaces arranged in bulk carriers of length greater than or equal to 150 m, in void spaces in bulk carriers and oil tankers or cargo oil tanks of crude oil tankers of 5,000 tonnes deadweight and above.
