Statutory type approval

BWMS manufacturers and shipowners should be aware that several Flag State Administrations require that any BWMS installed on board ships flying their flag is issued with an IMO type approval by or on behalf of the ship’s flag state Administration.

 

Bureau Veritas is providing such certification services on behalf of Flag States.
