3D beam analysis
Steel is a 3D-beam analysis program based on the displacement method. It calculates all deformations, local forces, moments and stresses using 3D frames modelled by beams and submitted to static and thermal loads. The Steel program includes beam axial and torsional rigidities, in addition to beam deformations due to shear forces and beams with rigid ends. Our software is completely interactive, and provides printed graphic data and results.
- Different types of loads can be applied: structural weight, concentrated and linear beam loads, hydrostatic loads and thermal load.
For each node: displacement and reaction results are available
For each beam: deformation, local shear forces, local bending moment and stress (normal, shear and Von Mises) results are available
