Technical Bulletin 2010

Welcome to this edition of Technical Bulletin, a growing resource of technical papers delivered by experts from Bureau Veritas during 2010.

The twenty-seven detailed papers published here are grouped into five sections: Hydrodynamics and Mooring; Hydro-Structure; Structural Liability and Integrity Management; Safety and Sustainability Level Approach and Rules and Classification.

There is a strong emphasis on Safety and Sustainability this year, and a very international flavour, building on the extensive co-operation Bureau Veritas enjoys with universities all over the world. Each section ranges over a wide range of topics which experts have tackled during the year. The variety and depth of the papers are a testimony to the wide range of expertise and resources committed to research by Bureau Veritas. The papers give full details of the topics and are fully referenced, and the authors would be very happy to discuss their work further with interested parties.
