NR217 Rules for the classification of inland navigation vessels

These BV Rules are applicable to all vessels designed and operated for inland navigation and related activities. They provide detail on the requirements for the assignment and the maintenance of Bureau Veritas classification of ships.

Unless otherwise specified, these Rules apply to units for which the date of contract for construction is on or after June, 1st 2025. Bureau Veritas  Rules for the Classification of Inland Navigation Vessels consist of the following documents:
