NR216 Rules on materials and welding for the classification of marine units

These Rules are applicable to the manufacture, inspection and certification of rolled products, tubes, forgings, castings, anchors, chain cables, welding consumables and various components used for the construction of marine units to be classed with Bureau Veritas in accordance with the applicable Classification Rules for the concerned unit.

Unless otherwise specified, these Rules apply to units for which the date of the contract for construction is on or after January 1st, 2024. BV Rules on Materials and Welding for the Classification of Marine Units consist of the following document:
