The last version of VeriSTAR Lashing, complies with BV Rules for Steel Ships (NR467) January 2025.
During its development, a lot of attention has been given to propose fast and user-friendly process allowing quick assessment of the container securing and locking devices with BV Rules.
This new version VeriSTAR Lashing includes the following main features : bay arrangement and mixed stowage stack calculation. VeriSTAR Lashing allows the analysis of multiple lashing configurations (external, internal or mixed lashing systems) taking into account:
- Accelerations values defined in BV Rules for Steel Ships (NR467),
- Roll reduction factor if the ship is equipped with an anti-roll tank or a stabilization system,
- Horizontal and vertical twistlock gaps.
For a given stack and a lashing configuration, VeriSTAR Lashing immediately checks:
- Lashing rod effort vs Safe Working Load,
- Twistlock tensile and shear load,
- Loads in container fittings,
- Racking and vertical forces in way of both container sides (door and wall),
- Stack reactions.
