Gas and Heat obtains Approval in Principle from Bureau Veritas for LH2 containment system for ships and onshore facility
Gas and Heat S.p.A., a global leader in cryogenic gas infrastructures, has announced that it has received an Approval in Principle (AiP) from Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore, one of the world’s leading classification societies, for its project dedicated to liquefied hydrogen (LH2).
The AiP specifically covers:
the design of a next-generation containment and handling system for the transportation of liquefied hydrogen by ship;
the development of an onshore LH2 storage facility, intended to support future import and export terminals.
