Ratification by France of Nairobi Convention - delegation to BV

Following the ratification by France on the 4th February 2016 of the Nairobi Convention, this Convention has entered into force for France on the 5th May 2016.

From the 5th May 2016, Bureau Veritas is authorised to issue Certificates of Insurance in respect of liability for the removal of wrecks on behalf of the French Government for ships flying the French flag and also for ships not registered in a State Party.
