MARPOL Annex VI - 2019 Guidelines for consistent implementation of the 0.50% sulphur limit

1 January 2020 is be the effective date of implementation for ships to comply with global 0.50% m/m sulphur content of fuel oil requirement .

The Maritime Administration of Cook Islands strongly recommend to prepare in due course and update plans according to the latest IMO Guidance. In that respect, the below atteched Circular 206/2019 "MARPOL Annex VI - 2019 Guidelines for consistent implementation of the 0.50% sulphur limit" has been issued
