Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore releases its Annual Business Review 2018/19

We have just released Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore Business Review 2018/2019, the annual booklet that presents our business activities, the most innovative projects and our experts who make them happen.

Matthieu de Tugny, President Marine & Offshore describes the year as one where "Marine and offshore markets are improving steadily– but owners and operators want to maintain the efficiency they’ve gained in recent years."

At the beginning of 2018, Marine and Offshore markets were emerging from a brutal downturn: today, the tide has turned, with many owners and operators cautiously optimistic. However, this is not a return to the boom years. Ship owners and offshore operators rode out the downturn by increasing efficiency: going into the recovery, they remain focused on keeping costs down.
