Bureau Veritas Joins Smart Maritime Network to Propel Digital Transformation

Bureau Veritas (BV) has joined the Smart Maritime Network (SMN), a collaborative platform which supports enhanced integration, standardization, and data sharing among stakeholders within the maritime and transport logistics sectors.

The platform informs and educates the industry on technical developments and innovations, helping to facilitate opportunities for knowledge-sharing and relationship building.

As a global leader in the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) industry, BV remains at the forefront of digital innovation, embracing new technologies to enhance safety, efficiency, and sustainability. As the industry rapidly transforms, harnessing the benefits of the global digital transition will be key to its future success.

As a result, BV is proactively developing innovative solutions that help ship owners, yards, and designers achieve compliance, optimize operations, reduce costs, and improve efficiency, in order to meet the evolving needs of the industry.
